The promise
If the reading is not what you expected, you can ask for your money back within fourteen days of your first payment. This is our own promise, offered on top of whatever the law where you live already gives you. It does not replace those rights and it cannot reduce them.
What it covers
The amount you have actually paid. If you are still inside a trial, that is the trial amount; if the subscription has renewed, it is the payment you are asking about.
What it does not do
Asking for a refund does not by itself stop a subscription from renewing. Those are two separate things and both have to be done: cancelling is the Cancel subscription button in Settings, or the same message that asks for the refund, saying so.
What we will not do
We will not ask you to prove the reading was wrong. A reading is for entertainment and reflection, there is nothing in it to be proven either way, and a refund process that argued about it would be dishonest about what was sold.
How to ask
Write to support@readpalm.net, or use the contact form, within fourteen days of the first payment. Say that you want your money back. You do not have to explain, and you will not be asked to.
How long it takes, and where the money goes
The refund is made through Stripe, which sent the payment in the first place, and it goes back to the card it came from. We cannot send it anywhere else — that is a property of how the refund works rather than a policy.
We start it as soon as we read your message. Stripe releases it within a few days, and how long it then takes to appear is your bank's business rather than ours: five to ten working days is usual.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page takes anything away from you. It is a promise given on top of the law, not instead of it.
The one statutory right worth naming is the fourteen-day right of withdrawal, and for digital content it works differently: it ends when you ask for the content to be delivered immediately, having been told that asking ends it. Pressing the payment button is that request; the paragraph under the button points to the billing terms, which set this out in full.
Which is exactly why the promise on this page exists. It covers the same fourteen days, and unlike the statutory right it still stands after your reading has been written.
